Attorney Gribouski Successful at OUI Jury Trial in Fitchburg District Court
May 2, 2016, Fitchburg District Court, Jury Session, Fitchburg, Massachusetts
Attorney James J. Gribouski’s client, a fifty year old Cambridge, Massachusetts, man was stopped by a Massachusetts State Trooper in Leominster, Massachusetts after a citizen called 911 and reported that the client’s vehicle was all over the road. After the stop, the trooper had the client perform field sobriety tests and then arrested him for OUI/DWI.
Attorney Gribouski obtained his client’s medical records which revealed ailments which would render the walk and turn test and one-legged stand test invalid. After a vigorous cross-examination of the citizen and the trooper, Attorney Gribouski called both his client and his client’s wife to the stand. The jury returned a verdict of not guilty in fifteen minutes. The judge then ordered that the client’s right to operate be restored.
