Attorney Gribouski Successful in Reducing Vehicular Homicide Charge to Negligent Operation
March 2, 2016 – Dudley District Court, Dudley, Massachusetts
Attorney James J. Gribouski‘s client, a seventy-two year old man, suffered a seizure while operating his motor vehicle in Webster, Massachusetts. His motor vehicle then struck a motorcycle. The passenger on the motorcycle was killed as a result of the collision. After an extensive police investigation the client was charged with vehicular homicide.
Attorney Gribouski conducted an extensive review of his client’s medical history as well as a close examination of the police investigation. He was then able to convince the prosecutor to reduce the charge to negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The prosecutor then recommended to the judge that the client be found guilty and suffer a lifetime loss of license. Attorney Gribouski however, was able to persuade the judge to continue the case without a finding to be dismissed.
