Attorney Gribouski’s Client Found Not Guilty of Domestic Assault and Battery at Trial
March 31, 2016, Central District Court of Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts
Attorney James J. Gribouski’s client, a forty-two year old Auburn, Massachusetts, man who is involved in a bitter divorce was charged with domestic assault and battery by the Auburn Police Department after his wife alleged that he had assaulted her four months prior. Attorney Gribouski investigated the facts of the case and recommended that his client proceed to trial.
After successfully arguing a pretrial motion that excluded very prejudicial evidence, Attorney Gribouski cross-examined the wife and demonstrated that the wife did not report the alleged assault to the police until four months later at a time she was planning a divorce. Additionally, her testimony was inconsistent and confusing. Attorney Gribouski’s client was found not guilty.
