Attorney James J. Gribouski’s Client Found Not Guilty at OUI/DWI Trial
February 24, 2016 – East Brookfield District Court, East Brookfield, MA
Attorney James J. Gribouski‘s client, a fifty-eight year old Barre, Massachusetts man, was stopped by a Barre Police Department officer for speeding. After asking the client to perform field sobriety exercises, the officer arrested the client for OUI/DWI and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Attorney Gribouski obtained the police reports and the videotape of his client’s booking. Upon review of this information, Attorney Gribouski recommended that his client proceed to trial. At trial, Attorney Gribouski was able to demonstrate the weaknesses of the Commonwealth’s case through cross-examination of the arresting officer and presentation of the booking video. He then rested without calling any witnesses. The judge found his client not guilty.
