Attorney James J. Gribouski Successful in OUI Trial in Worcester District Court
December 3, 2015 – Central District Court of Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts
Attorney James J. Gribouski‘s client, a twenty-two year old Shrewsbury, Massachusetts woman was stopped by an Auburn, Massachusetts police officer on Route 20 in Auburn. After not performing field sobriety tests to the officer’s satisfaction, she was placed under arrest for OUI/DWI.
She was brought to the Auburn Police Department where she elected to take a breath test and registered over the legal limit. Attorney Gribouski recognized that she had not been allowed to use a telephone within an hour of her arrival at the police station. He thus filed a motion to exclude the breath test. This considerably weakened the Commonwealth’s case against his client and she was then found not guilty at trial.
